Multiplex Bio-Tech Pvt. Ltd widely engaged in the business of Agri Inputs and production of Secondary Nutrients and Micronutrients, Bio-organic manure, Bio-fertilizers and Bio-pesticides having a wide experience of more than 30 years in the field of Research and Production of agri inputs and having expertise in the said line of operation and equipped with technically trained personnel and best suited to manage the agricultural farms in India and abroad.

Multiplex Bio-Tech Pvt. Ltd, Bangalore, India has been appointed as Consultants, Advisors and managers by the Republic of Djibouti, Africa in the year 2008 for all their agricultural projects in Djibouti and Ethiopia.

Further, Republic of Djibouti has appointed Multiplex Bio-Tech Pvt. Ltd as their Project Implementing and Management Agency for Serofta Modern Farm comprising of about 3088 hectares at Serofta, West Arsi Region, Ethiopia.

The main objective of entrusting this work to Multiplex Bio-Tech Pvt. Ltd is to uplift the interest and safe guard the Food Security Mission of the Republic of Djibouti.

It means that the Multiplex Bio-Tech Pvt. Ltd is responsible for crop cultivation from seeding to harvesting. The total responsibility of managing and maintaining the Farm, empower to take decisions with regard to selection of crop, cultivation, procurement of inputs, appointment and assigning the work and day to day activities of the Farm including transportation.

Multiplex Bio-Tech Pvt. Ltd has taken up the cultivation of Wheat, Maize, Oil Seeds and Pulses in consultation with the Republic of Djibouti. Some of the agricultural operations carried over by Multiplex Bio-Tech Pvt. Ltd are shown in the picture;

Republic of Djibouti has signed a MOU with Multiplex Bio-Tech Pvt. Ltd to enter into a Joint Venture Agreement to implement and manage 50000 hectares of agricultural projects in MALAWI, Africa, the work is under progress.

Karuturi Overseas Limited, Dubai entered into an Agreement with Multiplex Bio-Tech F.Z.C in the year 2010 for implementing the Management Services of various agricultural practices in their agricultural land of about 11700 hectares at BAKO, Ethiopia.

• Multiplex Bio-Tech F.Z.C is responsible for determining the right crop commercially suitable for the location based on the agro climate, soil, water availability and suggests all necessary inputs.
  
• To supervise the different stages of crop and follow Integrated Nutrition, Pest and Disease Management procedures.
  
• To assure optimum productivity by taking one or more crops to implement Modern Agricultural Technology.
  
• To be responsible for Crop Cultivation from Land Development to Harvesting.

Multiplex Bio-Tech F.Z.C in the first year of operation is cultivating Maize, Wheat and Paddy crops in about 25% of the area and gradually it will be increased to entire Project Land. The Agricultural Operation carried over at BAKO Farm is shown in the pictures;

Further, the Tripartite Agreement for contract farming at Gambella, Ethiopia was entered between Republic of Djibouti, Karuturi Agro Products P.L.C (KAPL), Ethiopia and Multiplex Bio-Tech F.Z.C for managing 10000 hectares. Whereas Multiplex Bio-Tech F.Z.C is solely responsible to execute and manage the agricultural activities.

A MOU has been executed between Multiplex Bio-Tech Pvt. Ltd and M/s. MISR India Impex, Egypt for supply of Organic Manure, Secondary and Micronutrients in the year 2010.
